Decadent pecan pie and fudge brownies combine in a scrumptious treat made with Betty Crocker® brownie mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch square pan with foil, ensuring there is a 2-inch overhang on two opposite sides of the pan; generously spray the foil with cooking spray.
  • Combine brownie mix, oil, water, and 2 eggs in a medium bowl, stirring with a spoon until well blended. Spread batter in pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, melted butter, and remaining eggs in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth. Mix in pecans. Pour the mixture over the partially baked brownie base.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is set. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack, then refrigerate for 2 hours. Use foil to easily lift from the pan and cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.
