Impress with these quick and delicious pecan bars made with Betty's sugar cookie mix in just 10 minutes prep time. A delightful twist on traditional pecan pie, these bars are sure to be a hit!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine all crust ingredients in a large bowl until a dough forms. Use floured fingers to press the dough into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together all Pecan Filling ingredients until fully combined. Pour the mixture over the hot crust.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until the center is firm. Allow to cool completely for about 2 hours. Cut into 9 rows by 4 rows for bars and store covered in the refrigerator.
