Quick and spicy buffalo chicken wings - perfect for parties!
Ingredients:
  • 12 skinless chicken wings
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
  • 0.75 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Wash chicken wings in cold water, then dry thoroughly using paper towels.
  • Combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a 1-gallon resealable bag, then toss in the chicken wings. Seal the bag and shake vigorously to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Preheat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375°F (190°C).
  • Take the chicken out of the bag and shake off any extra coating. Fry it in the hot oil until the chicken is cooked through, approximately 7 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken and let it drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt together hot sauce and butter until warmed through, approximately 5 minutes. Toss cooked chicken wings in the flavorful sauce.
