Simple 6-ingredient fancy dessert that's impressive.
Ingredients:
  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
  • 3 cups peeled, sliced Anjou or Bosc pears (3 medium)
  • 1/3 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream and additional salted caramel sauce, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a 15x10x1-inch pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Unroll the pie crust from the pouch and place it in the pan.
  • Combine pears, 1/3 cup caramel sauce, and flour in a bowl until fully coated. Spread mixture in the center of the crust, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold the crust edges over the filling, pleating as needed. Brush the crust edge with milk and sprinkle with sugar before baking.
  • Bake for 38 to 43 minutes until the crust is a deep, golden brown and the pears are just tender. If pears start to brown too quickly, loosely cover them with foil. Let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  • Cut the dish into wedges and serve with a side of ice cream, then generously drizzle with more caramel sauce for a delicious finishing touch.
