Coat chicken in seasoned flour, bake until golden and perfectly juicy. Simple and full of flavor!
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds chicken, cut into pieces
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon sage
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and gather up all your ingredients.
  • Combine flour, salt, paprika, sage, and pepper in a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken parts, seal, and shake until evenly coated.
  • Place the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish in the preheated oven to melt. Once melted, lay the coated chicken pieces in the dish skin-side down and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Bake chicken pieces skin-side down for an additional 20 minutes until fully cooked. Confirm doneness by inserting an instant-read thermometer near the bone; it should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • Serve while piping hot for maximum enjoyment!
