Indulge in a quick and easy stovetop peach cobbler for a delightful sweet fix using fresh or canned fruits of your choice.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 (9 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 4 teaspoons margarine
Instructions:
  • Strain out half of the juice from the canned peaches, then transfer the peaches with the remaining juice to a large saucepan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, then evenly cover with cake mix. Place a dollop of margarine in the center on top.
  • Once the saucepan is covered, allow it to come to a gentle simmer over medium-high heat. When you notice steam escaping, lower the heat to medium-low and cook for 10 minutes without uncovering. Afterward, take it off the heat and let it sit with the lid on for 15 minutes.
