Exciting and untested member recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 100g butter, softened
  • 107.50 gm caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 egg
  • 150.00 gm self raising flour, sifted
  • 125.00 ml milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Combine butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric beater to blend until light and creamy. Add the egg and beat for one minute until well incorporated.
  • Combine flour with mixture and blend using a knife or spatula until it reaches a bread crumb consistency. Incorporate chocolate chips and use your hands to shape the mixture into a dough ball.
  • Chill wrapped dough in fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 160C and line 2 large baking trays with parchment paper.
  • After refrigerating, roll teaspoon-sized balls and place on a tray with 3cm of space between each one. Gently press down on each ball with a fork. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool on the trays for 10 minutes before serving.
