Simple and versatile whole wheat bread recipe perfect for sandwiches or toasting.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered egg substitute
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon rapid rise yeast
Instructions:
  • Combine the egg substitute with warm water until dissolved. Add all ingredients to the bread machine pan following the manufacturer's instructions. Choose the Whole Wheat cycle and Regular bake setting, then start the machine.
  • Check the dough's texture after 5 minutes of kneading. Adjust with 1 tablespoon of flour or water as needed. Cool the bread on a wire rack after baking before slicing.
