Flavorful edamame dumplings elevated with black truffle oil.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups edamame
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 4 teaspoons black truffle oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) package dumpling wrappers
Instructions:
  • Boil water, then cook edamame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Place the edamame in a food processor after straining them. Add garlic, ginger, 4 tablespoons of water, truffle oil, olive oil, soy sauce, and pepper. Blend until velvety smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Place a small bowl of water on the table next to the dumpling wrappers and stuffing mixture.
  • 1. Moisten the edge of a dumpling wrapper with a wet fingertip to form a half-moon shape. 2. Add a spoonful of filling to the center of the wrapper. 3. Fold the dumpling in half and seal the edges. 4. Repeat process for remaining dumplings.
  • Fill a saucepan with water, ensuring it is just below the steamer insert. Bring the water to a boil, then add the dumplings. Cover and steam for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the wrapper is soft.
