Delicious egg custard tarts, ideal for a delightful afternoon treat.
Ingredients:
  • 192g pkt Make At Home Mini Tart Shells*
  • 1 Free Range Egg
  • 2 Free Range Egg yolks
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 2 tablepsoons thickened cream
  • 41.20 gm milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • Icing sugar, to dust
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, then arrange the tart shells on the tray. In a small bowl, combine eggs, egg yolks, sugar, cream, milk, and vanilla. Strain the mixture through a sieve into a jug, then pour it evenly into the tart shells.
  • Bake until custard is barely set, then let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature, dusted with icing sugar.
