Upgrade your Bisquick pancakes with a festive twist using leftover eggnog, topped with delicious stewed apples.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 1/2 cups eggnog
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • In a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, combine water, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils. Lower heat, then add apples and cook uncovered for about 20 minutes until softened.
  • Combine pancake ingredients until well mixed. Ladle slightly less than 1/4 cup of batter onto a hot greased griddle. Cook until edges are set. Flip and continue to cook until golden brown.
