Savory ground beef, bell peppers, and onions simmered in tomato sauce over macaroni, topped with cheese. Deliciously simple comfort food.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 (29 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (16 ounce) package macaroni
Instructions:
  • Cook the pasta until al dente following the instructions on the package, then drain.
  • In a Dutch oven, sear ground beef until golden brown. Stir in chopped onion and sauté until tender. Mix in green pepper and tomato sauce, simmer until pepper is tender.
  • Ladle the flavorful sauce over the piping hot pasta.
