Extra Cheesy Lasagna Skillet

Deliciously gooey cheese sticks elevate this skillet recipe to the next level.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 package (8 oz) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 1/4 cups hot water
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ four cheese lasagna
  • 4 mozzarella cheese sticks (4 oz), cut into 3/4-inch pieces
Instructions:
  • In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, sauté the beef, mushrooms, and bell pepper over medium-high heat for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is no longer pink. Then, drain the excess fat.
  • Combine milk, hot water, and sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper™ box in a pot. Stir in the uncooked pasta from the Hamburger Helper™ box. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 9 to 11 minutes until pasta is tender and sauce is thick. Remove from heat and enjoy!
  • Fold in the cheese with a delicate touch; cover and allow to sit for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese has melted.
