Garlic knots inspired by your favorite pizza joint, with fresh garlic, parsley, and cheesy goodness for extra garlicky flavor!
Ingredients:
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen pizza dough, thawed
  • flour for dusting
  • 10 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tablespoon salt
  • 0.5 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and lightly grease 2 baking sheets with oil.
  • On a floured surface, roll out a package of pizza dough into a 10-inch square using a floured rolling pin. Use your hands to stretch the corners. Cut the square in half, and then cut each half into 15 strips, each about 2/3 inch wide. If needed, lightly dust with flour to prevent sticking. Gently tie each strip into a knot, securing by pulling the ends slightly. Place the knots 1 inch apart on a baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
  • Place in the heated oven for 15 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix oil, garlic, and salt together.
  • After removing knots from the oven, generously brush them with aromatic garlic oil. Return them to the oven and bake until beautifully golden brown, which should take an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Remove the knots from the oven and generously sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley. Serve them warm and enjoy!
