Spicy Southwestern wings - a party favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 12 chicken wings, tips removed
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Cut each chicken wing in half and place in a large resealable plastic bag. Add marinade, seal the bag, and coat the wings by turning the bag. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, turning occasionally, but no longer than 24 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Drain the chicken wings, saving the marinade. Arrange the chicken on a broiler pan.
  • Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, brushing occasionally with reserved marinade, until chicken juices run clear when thickest part is cut to bone (180°F). Discard any unused marinade before serving warm.
