Tomato Sukiyaki: A flavorful twist without tofu or seaweed. Quick and nutritious meal bursting with natural flavors, perfect for a fresh touch add diced tomatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound thinly sliced roast beef, cut into strips
  • 1 bunch fresh spinach, rinsed and stemmed
  • 12 ounces fresh button mushrooms, halved
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can beef stock, divided
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced onion
  • 3 tablespoons sake, or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Heat 1/4 cup of beef stock, soy sauce, and sake in a wok over high heat. Stir in onions and mushrooms until onions begin to soften. Add beef strips and the rest of the beef stock, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Toss in spinach, cover, and cook for 3 minutes until wilted. Adjust seasonings, then serve over udon or ramen noodles.
