Fancy fairy bread recipe

Australia's beloved fairy bread must have plain white bread, soft butter or margarine evenly spread for perfect stickability of 100s and 1000s sprinkles. Elevate with fairy bread lamingtons or other creative twists.
Ingredients:
  • 10 slices fresh white sandwich bread
  • 100g butter, at room temperature
  • 125g (1/2 cup) hundreds and thousands
Instructions:
  • Evenly spread butter on the bread slices.
  • Dip the buttered side of the bread into the 100s and 1000s, pressing gently to coat the slice, then lift it out of the sprinkles.
  • Cut the food on a diagonal to create appetizing triangles before serving.
