Creamy mashed potatoes with sour cream, cream cheese, and melted Cheddar cheese - a decadent and irresistible side dish you'll crave.
Ingredients:
  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 pinch garlic salt
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Add the potatoes to a pot of boiling salted water, bring back to a boil, and cook until tender for about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain thoroughly and allow to cool.
  • Once the potatoes have cooled, chop them into small chunks. Blend the potatoes with sour cream, cream cheese, and garlic salt using an electric blender until smooth. Transfer the mixture into a 9x13 inch casserole dish and top with Cheddar cheese before baking.
  • Bake for a delicious 20 minutes, then serve piping hot.
