Fast Creamy Tomato Penne

Quick and delicious sour cream pasta with creamy tomato meat sauce. Perfect for busy days!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta
  • 0.25 large white onion, chopped
  • 0.5 large green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
Instructions:
  • Boil a large pot of salted water. Add penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and set aside.
  • As the pasta cooks, melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper until translucent, around 5 minutes. Add ground pork and cook until browned and crumbly, for about 7 to 10 minutes. Drain any extra fat and then transfer it to a bowl.
  • Heat spaghetti sauce in the pot until bubbling for 3 to 5 minutes. Add cooked penne and pork, stir in sour cream, and cook until heated through for about 5 minutes.
