Thanksgiving cranberry sauce with a zesty twist of orange juice and zest, candied ginger, toasted pecans, and premium Saigon cinnamon.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries, rinsed
  • 1 medium orange, finely zested, divided
  • 1 crystallized ginger
  • 0.25 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.125 teaspoon cinnamon (such as Supreme Saigon®)
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt down a delightful mixture of orange juice and both sugars. Introduce cranberries, 3/4 of the orange zest, and crystallized ginger for an explosion of flavors.
  • Simmer berries and mash gently in sauce over medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Toast fragrant pecans in a small skillet over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Combine the cinnamon and chopped pecans with the cranberry sauce until fully mixed. Then, transfer the cranberry sauce to a serving dish and sprinkle the remaining orange zest on top.
