Fettuccine with Italian Sausage and Olive Sauce

Elevate Italian night with quick and flavorful sausage pasta dish in 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb bulk Italian pork sausage
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup assorted small pitted olives
  • 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated fettuccine
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (2 oz)
Instructions:
  • Bring water to a boil for the fettuccine. In a 12-inch skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain if needed.
  • Combine the tomatoes, tomato sauce, and olives with the sausage. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, stirring occasionally.
  • Prepare and cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Top fettuccine with sauce and sprinkle with cheese before serving.
