Tender pork spareribs cooked in a flavorful sweet sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 pounds pork spareribs, sawed in thirds across bones
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder, divided
  • 0.5 cup Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 0.25 cup dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Cut the ribs into 1-rib pieces and coat them with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Sear half of the ribs in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, then repeat with the rest. Remove the ribs and drain the excess fat from the pan. Place the ribs back in the pan and mix in 1/3 cup of water, low-sodium soy sauce, sherry, and brown sugar. Cover and let it simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the ribs are fully cooked.
