Celebrate July 4th with explosive Firecracker Pancakes drizzled in patriotic red, white, and blue glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Red and blue food colors
Instructions:
  • Prepare the griddle or skillet by lightly brushing with vegetable oil or spraying with cooking spray. Heat over medium-low heat.
  • Blend the Pancake ingredients in a medium bowl with a whisk until well mixed.
  • Pour a generous dollop of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook until edges are dry, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  • Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, 1/4 cup milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth. Divide the mixture into 3 bowls, leaving one bowl white. Add red and blue food coloring to the remaining two bowls for a vibrant finish.
  • Drizzle patriotic glaze over pancakes.
