Delicious baked custard made with caramel, milk, and eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 0.375 cup white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for perfect baking results.
  • Melt 1/2 cup sugar in a heavy bottomed saucepan over medium heat until golden. Evenly pour hot caramel into four oven-proof ramekins, tilting to coat bottoms evenly.
  • Heat the milk in a saucepan until just boiling. Gradually whisk the hot milk into the beaten eggs and egg yolks until well combined. Mix in the sugar and distribute the mixture evenly into ramekins.
  • Place a damp kitchen towel in a roasting pan. Set the ramekins on the towel inside the pan and place it on an oven rack. Fill the pan with boiling water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  • Preheat the oven and bake for 40 minutes until firm. Allow to cool, flip, and enjoy.
