Sweet maple syrup gives these fluffy buttermilk pancakes a decadent twist, ideal for any morning or midday meal!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
  • In a large mixing bowl, blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Combine buttermilk, eggs, maple syrup, and butter in another bowl. Gradually add the flour mixture while whisking until smooth.
  • Preheat a generously sprayed skillet over medium heat. Ladle 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 3-4 minutes. Flip with a spatula and cook until golden, around 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
