Deliciously fluffy waffles with a perfect blend of bacon, buttermilk, and maple flavors that will have your loved ones craving more!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavor
  • 1 package or jar (3 oz) cooked real bacon pieces or bits
  • 1 1/2 cups real maple or maple-flavored syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat the waffle maker. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and maple flavor until smooth. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
  • Spread 2 teaspoons of bacon pieces evenly on each waffle grid. Pour the recommended amount of batter over the bacon. Close the waffle maker and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until steaming stops. Repeat with the rest of the bacon and batter. Serve the waffles with syrup.
