Maple bacon chocolate chip cookies: A sweet and savory twist on a classic favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon maple extract
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
  • Using an electric mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Add one egg and beat until fully incorporated. Mix in the second egg, vanilla extract, and maple extract until well combined and slightly fluffy. Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the bacon and chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared cookie sheets.
  • Bake at the perfect temperature until edges are beautifully golden, for about 10 to 12 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool.
