Elevate your ham and cheese omelette with Swiss cheese and spinach for a gourmet breakfast twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 20.60 gm milk
  • 125.00 ml baby spinach leaves
  • 2 slices shaved ham, torn roughly
  • 62.50 ml grated light Swiss cheese
Instructions:
  • Combine egg yolks and milk in a bowl. Whisk egg whites to medium soft peaks in a separate bowl. Gently fold into the egg yolk mixture. Set aside (do not let it sit for too long).
  • In a small non-stick frying pan over medium heat, spritz with oil spray. Sauté the baby spinach for 1-2 minutes until wilted. Remove spinach from pan and wipe clean. Spritz pan again and return to heat.
  • Gently pour in the egg mixture and cook until the surface is almost set. Layer ham, spinach, and cheese over half of the omelette, then fold the other half over to cover the filling. Serve right away. Repeat steps for more omelettes.
