Fluffy 3-egg omelette filled with buttery Emmentaler cheese for an easy and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk, or as needed
  • salt and freshly ground white pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 cup shredded Emmentaler cheese
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, vigorously whisk eggs and milk together. Season generously with salt and white pepper. Keep whisking until the mixture becomes frothy, which should take about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • In a small, nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add egg mixture, swirling to evenly coat the bottom. Cook for about 1 minute until just set. Gently lift edges with a spatula and tilt skillet to allow uncooked egg to set at the bottom. Continue until no liquid egg is visible.
  • Gently turn over the omelette and warm it for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Sprinkle Emmentaler cheese along the center, fold the omelette in half, and cook until the cheese melts, about 20 seconds. Transfer the omelette onto a plate.
