Herb and cheese omelette

Elevate your herb omelette with gourmet Swiss cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 20.60 gm milk
  • 3 tsp chopped fresh chives
  • 3 tsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 5g butter
  • 62.50 ml grated Gruyere cheese
Instructions:
  • Whisk together eggs and milk using a fork, then stir in chives and parsley. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a small 16cm non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add eggs, then gently push the cooked edges towards the center, letting the uncooked egg fill the gaps. Repeat until the eggs are nearly cooked through.
  • Continue cooking for 30-45 seconds until the egg is just set. Sprinkle cheese on top, then fold one side of the omelette over the filling. Slide onto a plate and serve right away with a side salad.
