Homemade fortune cookies with Pillsbury pie crust, vanilla, and water - bake your own luck!
Ingredients:
  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and gently coat 10 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • Remove the pie crust from the pouch and unroll it on a work surface. Use a 1-cup measuring cup to cut out 10 rounds from the crust, re-rolling the scraps as needed to make all 10 rounds.
  • Combine vanilla and water in a small bowl. Gently brush the dough rounds with the vanilla mixture. Fold each round in half, sealing the middle with a gentle pinch. Press your thumbs into each side and bring them together to create a fortune cookie shape, then place them in muffin cups.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly golden. Transfer cookies from muffin cups to a cooling rack. Once cookies have cooled, insert the fortunes.
