Easy French apple pie with brown sugar streusel - a quick and delightful dessert for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons white sugar
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 4 cups apples - peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfect base for your masterpiece.
  • For the crust, combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together oil and milk, then add to the dry ingredients. Mix well, then press the mixture into a 10-inch pie plate.
  • In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, and cinnamon to create the filling. Spread this mixture over the unbaked crust.
  • Make the topping: Combine flour, brown sugar, and butter in a bowl and mix with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apple filling.
  • Bake until the filling is bubbling and the top is golden brown, approximately 1 hour in the preheated oven.
