Delicate nutmeg-scented muffins with a sweet cinnamon sugar topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 0.33300000429153 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Then, prepare your muffin tin by either greasing the cups or lining them with paper muffin liners.
  • Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Create a well in the center. Mix egg, milk, and 1/3 cup melted butter in a separate bowl. Pour egg mixture into the well; gently stir until batter is just moistened and slightly lumpy. Spoon batter into muffin cups.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Once done, dip the tops of the muffins in melted butter and cinnamon-sugar. Serve warm.
