A refreshing caffeine-free red beverage perfect for holiday parties or any time of day. A cherished recipe enjoyed for decades.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3 quarts cold water
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2.125 cups pineapple juice
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups white sugar, or to taste
  • 1 (3 inch) cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon whole allspice berries
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, combine the cranberries and water. Bring to a boil and cook until the berries pop, around 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature, which may take several hours.
  • Remove the cranberries and mix in orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and sugar. Add the cinnamon stick, whole cloves, and allspice berries. Bring to a gentle boil. Serve immediately or let it sit overnight for optimal flavor.
