Elevate fresh peach slices with a decadent 5-ingredient sauce featuring soymilk and amaretto - perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup soymilk
  • 1 tablespoon amaretto liqueur or 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups sliced fresh peaches
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar and cornstarch in a 1-quart stainless steel or nonstick saucepan (avoid aluminum to prevent discoloration). Whisk in soymilk and amaretto liqueur until smooth.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute, continuing to stir. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour until cold.
