Transform fruit salad with tangy rhubarb sauce to keep it fresh and vibrant.
Ingredients:
  • 0.66666668653488 cup sugar
  • 3 cups thinly sliced rhubarb
  • 15 seedless grapes, halved
  • 0.5 orange, sectioned
  • 10 fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 apple, cored and diced
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • 1 plum, pitted and sliced
  • 15 pitted Bing cherries
  • 0.25 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine water and sugar and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add rhubarb, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until rhubarb is soft, for 10 to 15 minutes. Mash the mixture and refrigerate to chill for about one hour.
  • Combine the grapes, orange, strawberries, apple, peach, plum, cherries, and blueberries with 2/3 cup of the rhubarb sauce. Gently stir to coat everything evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of two hours to enhance the flavor.
