Enhance the flavors of Hamburger Helper™ minestrone with no extra seasonings needed!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ cheesy Italian shells
  • 1 carton (32 oz) Progresso™ reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 can (15 or 15.5 oz) great northern beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with Italian-style herbs, undrained
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut in half lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sliced fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • In a 4-quart Dutch oven, combine uncooked pasta, sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box), broth, water, and carrots. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine the beans, tomatoes, and zucchini into the pot. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta and vegetables are tender.
  • Serve the soup in bowls and generously top with cheese and fresh basil.
