Gluten-free calamari that will make you a believer!
Ingredients:
  • 4 large calamari hoods, cleaned
  • 500.00 ml gluten-free plain flour
  • 20.00 ml mixed dried herbs
  • 460.00 gm macadamia oil
Instructions:
  • Cut the calamari lengthways, then flatten it out. Slice diagonally into 2cm-wide strips. In a bowl, mix flour and herbs, then add the calamari. Ensure it's coated well, then gently remove any excess flour.
  • In a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Fry in small batches for 1 to 2 minutes until light golden. Remove and drain on paper towel. Serve with gluten-free tartare sauce.
