Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
Instructions:
  • Heat butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat until it sizzles and looks hot.
  • Crack each egg into a custard cup or small bowl and gently slide it into the skillet. Maintain low heat so the eggs sizzle delightfully as they cook. Adjust heat if needed to keep them sizzling.
  • Simmer eggs in melted butter for 5-7 minutes, basting with the butter from the pan until whites are cooked through and yolks reach desired thickness.
