Savor this tasty breakfast with crispy, flavorful fried bread.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 4 eggs (duck or chicken)
  • 8 prosciutto slices
  • 80g butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, unpeeled,
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 2-day-old sourdough rolls, sliced
Instructions:
  • In a frying pan over low heat, combine half of the butter, garlic, and thyme until the butter melts. Add half of the bread slices and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat the process with the remaining butter, garlic, thyme, and bread slices. Keep warm.
  • Heat oil in a separate frying pan over medium heat, then crack the eggs into the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until desired doneness.
  • Present the eggs alongside the crispy fried bread and savory prosciutto, and don't forget to season to enhance the flavors.
