Garlic lovers' delight: Crispy garlic in olive oil over angel hair pasta, finished with Parmesan.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta
  • 2 cups olive oil for frying
  • 2 bulbs garlic, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. 2. Cook angel hair pasta until al dente, about 4 to 5 minutes; then drain.
  • Warm olive oil in a saucepan on medium heat until a piece of garlic gently sizzles when dropped in. Add the rest of the garlic and cook until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried garlic to a paper towel-lined plate, then set it aside with the garlic-infused olive oil.
  • Serve angel hair on plates, top with crispy garlic, drizzle with garlic-infused olive oil, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and save any extra oil for later.
