Deliciously moist banana bars topped with cream cheese icing for a sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 (16 ounce) container cream cheese frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 10x15 inch jellyroll pan.
  • Whisk butter and sugar until smooth in a large bowl. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then add sour cream and vanilla. Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in mashed banana and spread batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool bars completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
