Indulgent brownies packed with sweet bananas and juicy berries. Bake them now!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs as called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 banana, mashed (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) strawberries
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Fresh sliced strawberries, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and lightly grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan.
  • Prepare the brownie batter following the instructions on the box, then gently fold in the sliced bananas. Spread the mixture evenly into the pan. Bake for 24 to 26 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out nearly clean. Allow it to cool completely before serving.
  • Puree strawberries in a food processor. In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on low speed to beat powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and the pureed strawberries until smooth. Spread the mixture over cooled brownies and garnish with strawberry slices, if desired.
