Create a delightful homemade granola with cinnamon, cocoa, dried fruit, and dark chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 0.33333334326744 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups dried fruit (such as cranberries, pomegranate, cherries, or blueberries)
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and lightly grease a large baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, combine oats, almonds, cinnamon, cocoa powder, salt, brown sugar, and dried fruit, stirring after each addition.
  • Combine maple syrup and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Gently fold the mixture into the dry ingredients until well coated.
  • Place in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Stir, then bake until golden brown for an additional 25 minutes. Let it cool for about 20 minutes before serving.
  • Delicately mix chocolate chips into the granola blend, letting the chocolate coat the granola as it starts to melt. Allow it to cool entirely before storing.
