Decadent homemade fudge pie with rich cocoa, buttery crust, and a hint of vanilla - a simple, indulgent chocolate dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions:
  • Prepare your oven by preheating it to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Prepare your pie crust by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil and then filling it with pie weights or dried beans.
  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven until the edges turn golden and set, for approximately 15 minutes. Take it out of the oven, gently remove the parchment paper with the weights, and pierce the bottom crust all over with a fork. Return it to the oven and bake until the bottom of the crust is golden brown, for about 14 to 15 minutes more.
  • Adjust the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix sugar, butter, eggs, flour, cocoa powder, and vanilla until fully combined. Pour into the baked crust.
  • Bake in the oven until filling is firm, for about 25-30 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature before serving.
