Indulgent brownie bars made with Betty Crocker™ mix and frosting, ideal for sharing with a crowd.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on box for cakelike brownies
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Vanilla Frosting
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
  • 1/8 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1 drop liquid green food color
  • 10 Oreo mint creme chocolate sandwich cookies, coarsely chopped (about 1 3/4 cups)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and generously grease the bottom of a 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Prepare and bake the brownies following the instructions for a cakelike texture on the box. Allow them to cool thoroughly on a rack for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
  • Combine frosting, marshmallow creme, mint extract, and food color in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread the mixture over the cooled brownies, sprinkle with cookies, gently press them in, and cut into 4x4 squares.
