Upgrade fudgy brownies into a decadent trifle with layers of pudding, toffee bits, and fluffy whipped topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules or crystals
  • 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate fudge instant pudding and pie filling mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 bag (10 oz) toffee bits
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. Combine brownie mix, water, oil, and eggs in a medium bowl until well blended. Mix in coffee granules and spread batter in the pan.
  • Bake for 28 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out nearly clean. Allow to cool completely for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Cut brownies into 1-inch squares. Layer half of the brownie squares at the bottom of a 3-quart glass bowl. Prepare pudding mix according to package instructions using milk. Pour half of the pudding over the brownies in the bowl. Sprinkle half of the toffee bits and add half of the whipped topping on top. Repeat with the remaining brownies, pudding, toffee bits, and whipped topping.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving. Keep covered in the fridge.
