Indulgent caramel chocolate chunk brownies that are irresistibly fudgy and addictively delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 200g butter, chopped
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 59.40 gm brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 32.50 gm Dutch-processed cocoa, plus extra to dust
  • 375.00 ml plain flour
  • 3 x 55g Chokito bars, cut into 1cm-thick slices
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 190C/170C fan-forced. Grease an 18cm x 28cm slice pan and line it with baking paper, making sure to extend the paper 2cm above the edges of the pan.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and chocolate together, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for 20 minutes.
  • Combine sugars with cooled chocolate mixture, then add the egg and mix thoroughly. Add cocoa and flour, stirring well. Gently fold in Chokito and transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, leveling the top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the top is just firm and a skewer comes out with moist crumbs. Allow the brownie to cool completely in the pan before serving.
  • Remove the luscious brownie from the pan, slice into decadent pieces, sprinkle with a touch of extra cocoa, and present for a delightful serving.
