Create delightful finger food treats with unflavored gelatin paired with flavored gelatin mix.
Ingredients:
  • 5 (.25 ounce) envelopes unflavored gelatin (such as Knox ®)
  • 2.5 cups cold water
  • 2 (6 ounce) packages fruit-flavored Jell-O® mix
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup cold water
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, gently dissolve the unflavored gelatin in 2 1/2 cups of cold water.
  • In a large saucepan, mix together the fruit-flavored gelatin, sugar, and hot water. Bring the mixture to a boil. Add the unflavored gelatin mixture and stir until completely dissolved, about 5 minutes.
  • Take the saucepan off the heat and mix in 1 cup of cold water with the gelatin mixture, then transfer everything into a 13x9-inch dish.
  • Chill until the gelatin sets, around 3 hours, then cut into squares before serving.
