Celebrate with our comforting "Funeral Potatoes" - a cherished family dish perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar process cheese sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and butter up a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  • Combine processed cheese, sour cream, mushroom soup, celery soup, water, half of the margarine, and season with salt and pepper in a large bowl, whisk until smooth.
  • Combine the potatoes with the soup mixture in the prepared dish, ensuring everything is well mixed.
  • Combine the crumbs with the rest of the melted margarine, then sprinkle over the potato casserole.
  • Bake at 325 degrees F (175 degrees C) until crumbs are lightly browned and casserole is bubbling, about 40-50 minutes.
